What Would You Say YES to If You Had The Courage?

Dear Ladies,

As the year comes to a close and a new one starts, it’s a great time to reflect on the year that was.

There is a reason we need to have some downtime at this time of you to reflect, celebrate and rest before we start a new cycle.

This year more than any in the past 18 years gave me the chance to do exactly that, to look into the detail of my life and desires and ask ‘what do I really want‘?

2018  was a challenging year for me in a BIG way, but out of this challenge I found new creativity and felt fully connected to life again like I did when I left Sydney for Italy back in 2000 and felt all was possible. In the dark moments I asked myself was ‘I living my life authentically and if I could do anything what would that be‘?

Out of this soul searching came the desire to SAY YES TO MYSELF and I developed a roadmap to get there.

I have created a video series to show you that it ISN’T TOO LATE , you are right on time to get what you want in life and why now is the perfect time and lots of bonus worksheets to get you started

Leave me a comment about what you want out of 2019 or any challenges or thoughts on your 2018.

I would love to hear about your year.

Season’s Greetings Carla from far away Perth …
Thank you for this opportunity to take a good look at my life and the year ahead.

2018 was a very challenging one for me too.

As I continued to care for my husband who had a stroke five years ago, I discovered my breast cancer had returned after a nine year remission.
This meant worrying surgery, followed by hideous chemotherapy that made me so ill and hospitalised me every round, then enduring 33 rounds of radiation and just recently, a scare that the cancer had spread …

Losing my lifelong mass of thick, slightly unruly hair was most confronting and something I believe only women who have had to face this, truly understand.

I reflected that this part of cancer treatment is not so much vanity, but a loss of identity.

I still don’t really recognise the new white curly “wool” that is growing in its place!
You could say I look a bit like a merino sheep, but, hey, it’s hair and I am here and that is the most valuable gift of all.

Throughout all this being creative in different little ways has sustained my soul and fed my spirit.

This includes a daily Instagram photo which is a simple way to remind myself to stop and look for beauty, or something special in the day, which can be as basic as photographing a tree, a flower, my dog, friends, family, food, anything …

Dreaming of travel, especially to Paris, has also nurtured my imagination which is such a big part of me that I value – so much!

In fact I am about to check out airfares for the Perth – Paris return flights for May 2019, right now!

Big hugs for you Carla and thanks again for caring about all of us.
I have never met you, but your strength and courage shine through to inspire us all,
    Joanna Brazier

PS If you happen to know anyone who would like to stay in a Balinese patch of paradise, my “Villa Shanti Sari” in Bali is worth a look! (www.villashantisari.com(
It had been a 40 year dream of mine to “own a house in Bali”, and I finally achieved this, which is most satisfying,
but I now need to “Get Real” and start to promote it for others to rent so I can afford to maintain the four fabulous Balinese staff and all the rest that is involved!
Many thought I was mad taking on this huge project, but I have a feeling you will totally “get it” …
